 CAMPS APART FROM THE REST?</big></big></td>

 </center></div>     There are numerous summer basketball
 camps that are offered all over the United States, and many of them are very good camps.
   However, we believe that there are several factors that should be considered when
 choosing a summer basketball camp:
           1)  The Experience
 and Knowledge of the Camp Director and Staff
           2)  The Camp Format
           3)  The Facility
           4)  Accommodations
   (Meals and Lodging)
           5)  Location
      At HOOPS etc., we believe that we excel in all of the
 5 areas mentioned above.  The Camp Director, Coach Frank Ragukonis, Sr. (Vice
 President and Director of Basketball Education and Training), is one of the country's
 foremost authorities on basketball fundamentals (see the "About our Instructors"
 page in the main section of this website).  Joining Coach Ragukonis are some of the
 finest high school head varsity coaches in the United States (see "List of
 Coaches" page in this summer camp section).  Therefore, each and every player
 attending one of our camps will be taught by some of the best coaches in basketball,
 period.  Our camps will also feature some of the better players not only in the
 states of Indiana and Michigan, but across the country.  This assures all campers
 that they will be learning and advancing their skills while they are also playing against
 some of the better competition from throughout the Midwest and the United States.
      The summer basketball camps at Hoops etc. offer a very
 complete and diverse format from which a player may choose (see "Camp
 Descriptions" page in this summer camp section).  Campers will play on one of
 our 7 indoor air conditioned courts.  During the evening hours, 5 outdoor courts will
 be utilized.  All overnight campers stay on the beautiful campus of St. Mary's
 College directly across from the University of Notre Dame.  The campus is not only
 very functional as a summer basketball camp location, but also offers a pleasant camp
 atmosphere nestled on many wooded acres in beautiful South Bend, Indiana.  And
 finally, you can't beat our location.  Located directly off of Interstate 80-90, our
 facilities and the campus of St. Mary's College are only 90 miles east of Chicago, 90
 miles northwest of Fort Wayne, and just minutes from Michigan.

 taught by Coach Ragukonis and some of the top high school coaches in the country. 
 Camps run from June through August for both boys and girls, grades 2 through 12. We
 offer many different types of camp formats to fit your specific needs. Our 1999 Summer
